In the Outremont neighbourhood, taking on a patrimonial renovation project is never a walk in the park. To begin this project our team had to completely remove the old balcony as well as remove the existing concrete foundations. After pouring in the new foundations, the team was ready to begin the new balcony. We began with the ground floor then erected the two columns that carry the second-story balcony. Once the two platforms were constructed, the rest of the balcony was completed by using custom pieces fabricated on-site by our team of specialists; including counter-steps, hand-rails, and all other decorative elements. At the completion of the project, we had managed to create a pure contemporary balcony that answered all the client’s demands and did not disturb the other elements of the house.
